School Reimagined

The School of the Future is Coming this August

What to Wear. How to Order.

Friendship Aspire STEM Academy Maryland is a uniformed school. Tops consist of a school polo available for purchase via the link on this page. Here are a few details about the other items to complete our uniform look.

  • The bottom part of the uniform should be beige or blue khakis or a skirt. Parents may purchase these items on their own
  • Boys need to wear a black belt
  • Shoes should be all black or all white
  • Children are required to be in uniform everyday

At Friendship Aspire STEM Academy, we are committed to ensuring that all students have access to a high-quality education, including reliable transportation services. As part of our commitment to meeting the needs of our families, transportation will be offered based on need.

We are conducting a survey to gather information from families regarding their transportation needs. This survey will help us determine the demand for transportation services and ensure that we can accommodate all students who require assistance getting to-and-from school. Please visit the Parent Survey via the link below.

As we compile your preferences, here is information on the logistics we are currently considering:

  • We have a 3rd party vendor that will provide transportation
  • There will be a pickup and drop-off bus stop near the location of our future school at the new Southlake Development Center at Bowie. This bus stop will be near the intersection of US Route 214 Central Avenue & US Route 301 Crain Highway.
  • We’re considering these options: one morning bus pick up (7:15am) and two afternoon pick ups (one at 2:30pm and a later pick up for those in aftercare.) These are not firm/set times — but we would like to know if they’re convenient for you.
  • Kindly make your opinions on the above known via the survey link posted below
  • Signups for bus transportation will start July 15

Friendship Aspire specializes in before and after-school programs. However, before deciding their availability, we are conducting surveys to gauge parent interest. This survey will help us determine the demand for before-and-after school programs and ensure we can accommodate all parents who require it. Please visit the Parent Survey via the link below.

As we compile your preferences, here is information on what we are currently considering:

1) We are in the planning phase of our Extended Learning Programs (what we call our Before and After Care). Our plan IS TO provide both before and after care that extends the school day. However, it will not begin on the first day of school, as it requires additional staffing and programming that has to be approved by the District.

2) All Extending Learning will take place on site AT the school.

3) Kindly make your opinions & preferences known regarding Extended Learning Programs via the Parent Survey link below.
